Role Type: Internship 

Salary Range: Unpaid, but hours can fulfill the UCLA Luskin’s capstone requirement

Location: Los Angeles, CA or hybrid 

Role Description: The Global Lab is in an exciting phase as we implement our new  communications strategy. We are expanding our website content, developing social-media campaigns designed to communicate our research to a broad audience, and have a portfolio of research papers in need of translation into Policy Briefs, Research Briefs, and Op-eds. Through the internship, you will have the opportunity to translate and amplify policy research, develop policy communications strategies, and assist with internal development & operations tasks. 

Qualifications/Skills:

• Self-directed students who will feel comfortable working in a start-up environment;
• Exceptional organizational and planning skills;
• Outstanding oral & written communications;
• Specific experience and skills in the following: Translating dense content into accessible, public-facing communications; Graphic design; Social media platforms; Website design; Powerpoint; Event communications; Press & PR;
• Work experience across any sector, and an interest in global health, education, and/or gender studies.
