Transforming research into action – and impact – is our end goal, period. All too often, research does not make the leap from academia into the real world. However, when findings are translated into digestible content and amplified widely and strategically, the impact of research is intensified.

By arming practitioners and policymakers with evidence, they can invest in programs and policies that yield the most transformational results to generate effective, replicable, and scalable solutions for governments and other institutions.
When individuals gain access to credible research, they can make better informed personal choices while adding pressure to the solution pipeline as voters, community organizers, and/or activists.

The U.S. Supreme Court is deliberating Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, a case that has the potential to end federal protections for abortion by directly challenging Roe v. Wade.

Let’s keep the Bans off Our Bodies! Sign this petition by Planned Parenthood to protect the fundamental right to control our bodies.

Visit Plan C’s information campaign for abortion pill access and safe self-managed abortion, and help spread the word about their Guide to Pills: a 50-state directory of information on accessing abortion pills by mail and telehealth from every state, as well as medical and legal context for anyone choosing to end an early pregnancy at home.

Decriminalize Sex Work

If this dangerous federal bill introduced by Sen. Lindsey Graham (R–SC) becomes law, it will effectively end freedom of expression and open communication on the internet. Please take a moment to urge your U.S. senators to publicly oppose it.

Expand Sport for Development

The Toolkit is the applied section of sportanddev.org in which users may find information, guides, tools and advice on the practical implementation of sport for development projects and programs.

Grassroot Soccer develops and shares insights, results, and technical resources from our research, evaluations, programs, and partnerships.

Attend future Laureus Virtual Training Camp sessions which are free training for the youth sports sector and join their Sport for Good Connect platform to share resources, connect with other stakeholders in youth sports, and to view upcoming events and opportunities for the sector.

End Intimate Partner Violence

Leaving an abusive relationship is a highly personal, individual decision, but all survivors benefit from having trusted people during this time. Since those experiencing abuse are often isolated by their abusers, it’s important to know how you can support survivors on the path to finding safety.

Finding Jenn’s Voice has been demonstrated to be an effective tool for training professionals to help them recognize and more effectively respond to intimate partner violence. The film and profession-specific information is being offered as an online training program.
